A Dearheart Persian Cattery
Located in the Pacific Northwest

Located in the Pacific Northwest
We are a *very* small hobby breeder, located about 30 minutes outside of Seattle, and are part of a conservation program for the Dearheart line. We are working in conjunction with a dedicated network of breeders around the country to protect and expand the gene pool of these gorgeous (and once nearly extinct) cats. We have one mating pair (Gus & Ivy), and a "teenage" female (Mia). We anticipate having 2-4 litters per year. Kittens will be availble to loving homes.
We are a normal (ish- haha) family, consisting of myself, my husband, our three boys (10, 13, & 15), and the furballs.
We live about 30 minutes outside of Seattle, in a large home on nearly an acre. Jason and I are Real Estate Brokers, meaning we largely work from home. We spend a whole lot of time hanging out as a family.
Our cats are primarily pets. They roam the house freely (most of the time), just as any other cat would. They hang out with us all day, and sleep with the kids at night. These cats are SUPER social. Their strong preference is to be with their people. Gus has a particular affinity for my youngest son, and will go out of his way to seek him out. I regularly find them snuggled up “playing video games” or watching movies together. They’re like two little peas in a pod. Meanwhile, Ivy’s favorite place to sleep is on me. She also enjoys watching us cook from her favorite kitchen stool. Weird, I know. But she really does love it. Mia absolutely adores Jason. If he sits on the couch, she's generally on his lap within about 30 seconds.
The point is, these cats aren’t just beautiful, they’re friendly. Ridiculously so. Seriously, sometimes they’re over the top. And that’s not an accident. We believe that cats should actively seek out attention from their humans, not run and hide the minute they hear a kid come into the room. I’m sure you’ve come across breeders who refuse to sell cats to families with young kids. We have too. They argue that kids are too rowdy, or a cat might get hurt. We think that’s BS. Yeah, of course it’s important to teach children to be respectful of animals, especially a small kitten, and it’s important to monitor them. But frankly, cats have 6 ends, 5 of which are pointy. If your kid is too rough, they’ll likely get a swift correction in the form of a scratch. Most kids are smart enough to figure that one out.
That said, our kittens will be handled by our entire family from birth, and go to their new homes used to all the chaos of a normal household. Again… We have 3 boys. One of which is severely Autistic and thinks riding through the kitchen at full speed on his hover board is perfectly reasonable. Our home is not particularly quiet. Kids (and sometims parents) yell, doors slam, vaccuums are a thing, etc.
These kittens will come to your home ready to be part of the family.

We are expecting a litter in early March.
We can ship nationwide via pet nanny (at an extra cost, paid directly to the nanny by the buyer).
Our kittens start at $3500.
Maybe. A few kittens are sold to breeders who are already part of our conservation program, or those who are willing to join us, and help expand the Dearheart bloodline. The rest will be sold on spay/neuter contracts that will be strictly enforced.
Our kittens are CFA registered.
